Inspire was recently featured in a CNN.com article entitled “Coping with disease and disability in the time of coronavirus.” The article describes how patients with a range of conditions are coping with new challenges due to COVID-19.

In the article, Inspire Patient Engagement Manager Seth Rotberg discusses an increase in conversations about how covid is impacting patients. Specifically, he describes how “patients in Inspire’s support groups for lung-related conditions, including pulmonary fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, were concerned that COVID-19 might delay ‘wait periods and eligibility’ for lung donor and transplant programs.”

Rotheberg also reported patient concerns about how the pandemic would affect drug supplies.
